I am a member of the Okanagan Indian Band, with 56 years of knowledge. I was born into a family that grew to 14 members in total. I have been with my wife for many wonderful years; together we had one daughter who is now 24. From a previous relationship, I also have a daughter who is 36. I have now been sober for over 25 years. My experience as an Alcohol and Drug Counsellor includes 12 years at Round Lake Treatment Centre and 7 years with my present employer, the Okanagan Indian Band. I was also a Band Council member for 2 terms. I was elected for the board for CHABC in the fall of 2006. |
