Award Student Bursary Program Non-funded Aboriginal students may qualify for a bursary of up to $2,000 per academic year. Funded students may be eligible for bursary up to a maximum of $700 per academic year. Description This bursary assists any student in financial need to attend a school of Health Science of Health Sciences programs.
Eligibility Applicants must: - be Status Indian, Non-Status Indian, Inuit or Metis;
- ordinarily be residents of British Columbia;
- be attending a recognized post-secondary education institution in British Columbia on a full-time basis;
- be enrolled in a minimum two-year college or university program;
- be recommended by a Band Council or bona fide Native organization; and
- Submit a self-written letter background, tribal ancestry and work history.
